No, not for your wall, for your computer!

Just thought I would share 2 different ones I made recently. I know the basics of Photoshop, but that's about as far as my skills go, lol. However, if you give me a good tutorial, I can muddle through. I think from time to time I have an eye for composition, and layout just seems to come to me, lol.

random pictures: buildings

Just thought I would post some pictures I took around Canary Wharf in London a few weeks ago. Was testing out my camera and trying to be artistic, lol. Some are better than others, but some interesting shots, I think.

Always nice for shots when it's nice and sunny. Used the 'pin hole' filter again to take these. Loving that mode. Really makes the pictures pop. Enjoy :)

the evolution of tom fletcher

Ok, ok, yes, I mean Tom Fletcher, the front man of the pop group McFly. And yes, I hear you yelling 'McFly?? Are you crazy? You're 26!!', But you know what, I saw them in concert for the first time in 2006 and I've been hooked ever since. Their music is so much fun and it just puts a smile on your face. You can't beat a good bit of pop music and McFly are that all over. You can't deny their pop credentials, no matter what you think of their music. And obviously, when you like a group, there's always a member you like the most, and for me it's Tom. Come on, he named the group McFly, after Marty McFly of Back To The Future; it was love at first sight, lol!! He is a real geek at heart and is just adorable, hence the reason he has a special place in my heart. (Well, there's no guy taking up space at the moment, so somethings gotta fill it, lol!!). However, what I want to address here is Tom's evolution from adorable to smoking hot, lol. Now, I know I just did this with Jason Gordon-Levitt in my last post, but with Tom, it's even more dramatic. Here's the timeline:

Yes, that last picture, is the same guy!! Think he's a geek now?? or part of a stupid pop band?? Who cares, look at that body!! I saw this picture in the latest issue of Attitude and almost died!! He's gone from 'geek' to 'can I jump you now??' (Well, I always thought that, but you know what I mean!!). Some people might actually agree with me now, that he's kinda hot. (Or not!). I've never really been in to guys with lots of muscle, but Tom seems to have found a nice balance. Can I lick the screen now??, lol!!So, that's it. The ever changing image of Tom Fletcher. I just hope he keeps this one for a while for me to enjoy!!

And just a note Tom, I know you've now got a great body to show off, but it doesn't mean you now have to wear every shirt you own, unbuttoned to the middle of your chest!! Just an observation. :)

Well done Mr.Nolan...

So, I went to see Inception at the IMAX here in London last night. OMG, it was SO awesome. Really made you think, but not in a 'I'm totally confused' kind of way. Sure, you had to pay attention to keep up with it, but it wasn't totally baffling, which I enjoyed very much. I love clever movies, but I don't appreciate it when I get to the end of one and have no idea what just happened in the last hour and a half. This was not the case with Inception; Very fast paced, entertaining, serious, funny and clever all at the same time. I look forward to seeing what Christopher Nolan does next.

Just one other thing, Jason Gordon-Levitt is totally hot!! In (500) Days Of Summer, (another very kool movie) he was more cute, than hot. However, in Inception, totally more hot.

I have to say, I might prefer the 'cute', as I'm not convinced about the slicked back hair (why do guys do that??), but he looks good either way, lol!!

random pictures: flowers

I just wanted to share some pictures I took of flowers with my nice, new Olympus camera. Been waiting ages for them to update my old model with a x10 optical zoom and they finally did. I do really love it, however, we will see how it does during concerts in a few weeks time.

I do really like using the macro mode on my camera. Great for flowers, which I really like taking pictures of. And this new 'pin hole' filter on my camera gives the pictures a nice feel. Makes them look abit more professional, which is always nice.

So, that was flowers, more random pictures to come.

well, hello...

Well, new blog, first post. Blog virgin here!!

I guess this blog is going to be about a lot of things, but mostly the general geeky obsessions of my life and maybe some life issues thrown in too. Oh and lots of of pictures too. I always believe in a good visual backbone, lol!

So, here's one to start. Clay Aiken; general good guy with AMAZING voice. Love him. I know he's not every one's cup of tea, but he's full of awesome and he's very cute too boot too. All the good ones are always gay, lol!!







That's the favour of things to come. In the next few posts I'm likely to bring up David Tennant, Doctor Who, McFly and my hobby as a keen photographer, so be prepared.

I'll do a more detailed post on Clay soon. Just wanted to get something out there!! Trust me, I have ALOT more to say about him!!
